Diagnostics. Together.

Our mission is to offer a better life with advanced diagnostics.

At Uniogen, we believe that every life is immeasurably valuable. Our mission is to enable longer, healthier lives through advanced cancer diagnostics that reveal the disease earlier and more accurately.

Healthcare and medical research have long been shaped by bias. Sex and gender differences remain underrepresented, and women’s health has not received the attention or resources it deserves. Global inequality further widens these gaps, limiting access to high quality diagnostics when they are needed most. Ovarian cancer highlights this urgent challenge. It is one of the leading causes of cancer deaths among women, and too many lives are lost because current tests do not detect the disease early enough. Women are dying due to the limitations of existing ovarian cancer diagnostics.

We believe women’s health must be studied more, diagnosed earlier, and addressed with the same urgency as any other major medical need. By closing diagnostic gaps and advancing innovation, we work toward more equal healthcare and better outcomes for all. Together, through advanced diagnostics, we can change what is seen and when it is seen.

Advanced Ovarian Cancer Diagnostics

The first step on our mission is developing a test for early and accurate detection of ovarian cancer. For this, we harness our proprietary glycovariant-based assay technology.

There is an unmet need for creation of diagnostic tools, which can identify ovarian cancer at its earliest and most treatable stages. Ovarian cancer is often diagnosed at an advanced stage due to the lack of effective early detection methods, significantly reducing the chances of successful treatment. We have seen firsthand the impact that the late-stage diagnosis can have on patients and their families. We are hopeful that Uniogen’s innovative approach will help change this narrative for the better.

Future directions in cancer diagnostics

The ovarian cancer assay is an important first step in our broader vision. Uniogen is committed to advancing cancer diagnostics with a focus on women’s health and beyond. Our roadmap includes developing additional glycovariant-based tests and leveraging our expertise to address unmet clinical needs globally.

Patented Innovations

Uniogen holds patents for glycovariant-based approaches applicable to multiple disease areas, including e.g., ovarian, pancreatic, breast, and intestinal cancers. This reinforces our long-term vision to deliver accurate and accessible diagnostics across multiple indications
