A team from Uniogen cycled to Parainen during World Bicycle Day 2025

June the 3rd is declared as the World Bicycle Day by the UN General Assembly. Inspired by this, we decided to gather a small team of Uniogen employees to ride with bikes from our instrument site, in Turku to a picturesque cost city called Parainen and back. The total travelling distance was about 50 km. The sun was shining and the team enjoyed a delightful snack at Parainen before heading back to Turku. A perfect way to spend World Bicycle Day supporting a healthy and sustainable form of transportation together!

According to our new ESG report 2024, on average 36 of our 79 employees travel daily to work by bicycles and 20 of these bicycles are employer-provided. We are strongly committed to sustainability and the physical and social well-being of our staff. Please read more about our new ESG report here.

Aleksi cycling to Paris with team Rynkeby

Our Instrument Engineer Aleksi Nokelainen (the yellow cyclist) is taking part to a fund raising trip to Paris arranged by team Rynkeby. The fund raising organisation is Sylva Ry. Aleksi will be cycling to Paris from Turku and raising money for child cancer patients. Anyone can donate for this cause from here Pienten puolesta TRBY. With your donation you will be helping families that are struggling and needing all the support to overcome this disease. There is about 3 months fund raising time remaining.
